Olympics Blues for Me

Hey to all! I have been busy with the exams and with watching the Olympics simultaneously that's why this blog has been on hold... Anyway fast forward 16 days plus a few more days and exams are wrapped up and Olympic torch has extinguished...

Yesterday, i went for my heart check appointment to make sure that my heart is back to normal and that it is not at the dangerously low levels anymore so i went to Singapore General Hospital and did and ECG. For the uninitiated, an ECG is a machine where they have like 10 wires and they wire it to ur hands, ur legs and the chest area... hmmm ECG is harmless and painless but it is embarrassing because for females we have to remove er... the B thing... haha. Anyways the results were out and the doctor said i could be discharged cause my heart was functioning OK but if anything crop up i will see him again. SO YAY , one obstacle down!

But yeah, the depression and the mental part not discharge yet, because this other doctor refuse to release me so yeah i am just patient for that day to arrive. Until then, medication shall see me through. One way of being happy is this............

Mum and me were thinking of where to go after the appointment and on impulse Mum said let's go Raffles City so off we went. The moment we stepped into the mall, there were loads of clapping, whistles blowing away and shouting. I was like "what is all this hullabaloo about?" A typical Singaporean like me was curious so Mum went to shop and i went to third floor to do my detective work. WALALALA!! The sight was to behold!! There were about 200 Singaporeans or more waiting for Team Singapore to come and greet us after their successful Olympic outing! The feeling of being 1 of those Singaporean awaiting our athletes was really a chance that just drop from the sky! Many Singaporeans were so well prepared, they had like video cams, SLRs cameras and all the technology to capture the moment! As for me, sad to say i onli carried my 3.2megapixel cellphone...

Well, while waiting for Team Singapore to arrive at Raffles City, we were entertained by Carrie Yeo of Superstar... She was too far away... And also by JJ Lin aka Lin JUn Jie! This guy is truly a proud Singaporean and im proud of his success in Mainland China too! Plus, haha he is from SAJC-- My senior!

Some of the Pics taken! Enjoy! Though they are super blurry just squint your eyes OK?

More of Blurry JJ Lin!

Here are the real stars or should i say HEROES that everyone were waiting for so so long!!!

Tao Li is really cute! She tries so hard to speak in English! Erm Singlish i mean! HMM this girl is really becoming so Singaporeanish!

I really like Feng Tianwei! Our little Heroine! She's the most down to earth among the trio ping pong gals...
